This is a very important question to understand before purchasing a floor plan.
The first thing we would recommend is to reach out to your local permitting jurisdiction (County, City, etc) to better understand property setbacks, buffers, height restrictions and other possible restriction.
Next, we would recommend acquiring a site survey again to better understand the dimensions and topography of your specific site.
Then, we would recommend reaching out to a local design professional such as an architect or designer or even a builder. Someone local will understand how to navigate the local zoning codes and better understand the various setback conditions.
Once you understand your buildable footprint, look to see what the overall dimensions of the floor plan you would like to purchase. We have labeled an overall length, an overall width and an overall height. See the image below.
